The situation
Heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan have triggered devastating flooding that affects millions of people. Homes have been destroyed, farmland submerged, and entire villages cut off from help. The floods come on top of prolonged drought and extreme heatwaves that have already pushed communities to their limits.
Families in the flooded regions are in urgent need of clean water, food, shelter, and medical care. Stagnant floodwaters create serious health risks, including waterborne disease, and children are especially vulnerable. Roads and bridges have been washed away, making it difficult for aid to reach the hardest-hit areas.
Relief teams are on the ground distributing emergency supplies, but the scale of the disaster demands more resources. Donations help ensure families get the basics they need to survive and begin rebuilding.
