The situation
Bangladesh sits on the front lines of climate change. Every year, millions of families watch floodwaters rise, cyclones tear through their communities, and their homes and livelihoods wash away. This year has been no different, with devastating floods affecting large parts of the country.
At the same time, Bangladesh continues to host hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees who fled violence in Myanmar. Living in dense camps with limited resources, they face acute needs for food, healthcare, shelter, and protection — needs that grow more urgent with every new disaster.
Relief organizations are working across the country to reach both flood-affected communities and refugee families. Support is needed to provide emergency food, clean water, medicine, and shelter to those most at risk.
