DRC Ebola Emergency Response Fund
Your gift helps verified relief organizations deliver food, water, medicine, and shelter to families when they need it most.
Operated by Global Fund for Assistance Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Every dollar is a recommendation — recommendations that become grants.
The situation
The Democratic Republic of the Congo declared a new Ebola outbreak in Ituri Province in May 2026. Health authorities and humanitarian partners moved quickly to deploy medical teams, treatment capacity, protective equipment and disease surveillance to affected areas.
Outbreak response in the region is complex: health facilities are under-resourced, some communities are hard to reach, and families affected by illness often need food, water and protection support alongside medical care. Health workers face significant personal risk without adequate protective equipment and training.
This Fund is designed to support organizations responding to the outbreak. Depending on evolving conditions, assistance may include clinical care, infection prevention and control, protective equipment, community education, surveillance and logistics. Organizations included in this Fund may change as the response evolves.
